School Profile

Princeton School is located in the established community of Balwin in Northeast Edmonton. Our students live in the Balwin area as well as surrounding communities. We serve a diverse group of students from K-6 and we are also a designated Division Interactions Program site for students with specific educational needs related to their diagnosis of ASD.  We meet children where they are at as learners and work hard to build their knowledge and skills...recognizing and celebrating their individual successes!

Through the contributions of the Edmonton Public Foundation, we are pleased to offer full day kindergarten to our youngest learners.  Kindergarten provides a safe and fun learning through play experience where children grow academically and socially along side their peers.  This learning helps to support a strong literacy and numeracy foundation as students prepare for grade one learning and beyond.

We encourage parent and community involvement and have engaged volunteers in supporting students in their literacy and numeracy development.

Space in our building is leased to Children's Autism Services of Edmonton (CASE) and Pebbles Daycare/Before & After School Care. E4C a provides nutritional support which is available for all of our students. All programs and partnerships are an important and valued part of our school community.
